Simone Fezzardi, Italy
Simone Fezzardi was born in Gardone VT (Brescia, Italy) in 1980. Since he was a child he has been fascinated about the engraving art and drawing due to the strong presence of his uncle knifemaker.
In the following years he started a fine art's school where he perfected his drawing and anatomy skills, deciding that it would be is life working path.
Then he started to take lessons with two of the most famous engravers in the world with whom he worked for 14 years, engraving prestigious rifles and knifes and learning all the engraving technics (bulino, punta e martello, rimesso in oro, cesello ecc..). In this environment he got the opportunuty to personally meet the legends of this art sources of continual inspiration for this young artist.
In 2012 he chose to start his own venture, always working toward the goal of achieving the high level of the Master he always admired.
In 2016 he became an international member of the Firearms Engravers Guild of America (FEGA) and was recognized as a Master Engraver, being the first International member to become a master and winning the next year the award for the best engraved knife.
